Downtown Des Moines Lunch Deal

Every year, we create what we call Blue Plate Lunch Specials at Café Baratta’s. Each special is only $6 and they go pretty quickly, so get here early! We’re on the third floor of the State Historical Building, at 600 East Locust in Des Moines. Enjoy your lunch overlooking the downtown skyline and the historic Capitol Building. Even when it snows, it’s beautiful when you’re warm and cozy, enjoying a home cooked meal.

Not only can you spend your lunch break with us during the week, you can join us on Saturday afternoons, too! Make a day date with a special someone, bring the family to the State Historical Museum for an afternoon of learning and enjoy a lunch all in one place.
